6.8/10

My stay at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel was a mixed bag. While the location is fantastic with plenty of dining options nearby, I found the room to be less than stellar and in need of some updates. The staff was friendly, but the service could be hit or miss. Overall, I had some good moments, but there were also significant frustrations that affected my experience.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was on the smaller side and could use a facelift. The lighting situation was problematic, with one of the reading lights not working at all. Also, I found the absence of a microwave and fridge surprising. The bathroom had issues with extremely hot water, making it a hassle to get a comfortable temperature.
Service
5.0
The reception staff were welcoming and attentive upon arrival, which was a highlight for me. However, when I needed assistance later, the service lagged. I struggled to get through to the front desk for simple requests—a frustrating experience when I had to make multiple calls just to get a hairdryer or a fridge.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is definitely a strong point. It's situated conveniently in downtown Raleigh, right across from the convention center and surrounded by numerous restaurants and bars, making it easy to walk around and explore.
Dining
7.0
I appreciated having an on-site restaurant, which was convenient for meals. The overall dining options in the area were plentiful, making it easy to find something to eat, though I didn’t get to try too much from the hotel restaurant itself.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like the lobby were inviting and had a nice atmosphere, but I noticed some maintenance issues, particularly with cleanliness in the hallways and elevators. It seemed like they could benefit from a good deep clean and better upkeep in certain areas.

I had a really pleasant stay at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel. The location was fantastic, right in downtown Raleigh and close to great restaurants and attractions. My room was clean, spacious, and featured a super comfortable king bed. However, I did experience some delays with the elevators and a minor drip noise in the bathroom, but overall, it was a great experience.

I had a mostly enjoyable stay at Sheraton Raleigh Hotel during a wedding weekend. the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. However, I did encounter some maintenance issues with the elevators and in my room that detracted from the experience. Overall, the location was great, and the service was really good, but addressing these hotel concerns would enhance future visits.

My room was comfortable, though it had some maintenance issues like a leaking air conditioning unit and a malfunctioning shower drain. The layout and cleanliness were more than adequate, but some areas could use attention.

I had a mixed experience at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel. The location was excellent, right in the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore museums and restaurants on foot. However, my room felt small, and I faced some issues with the hot water and overall lighting. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made my stay more pleasant despite these drawbacks.
